On Friday, March 18, an all-star lineup-of underground heavyweights and up-and-coming buzzmakers came together at the Dizzy Rooster for DJBooth.net, 2DopeBoyz, Last Rights, Pyramid Builders, UniqueSquared and C9‘s unofficial SXSW showcase, The Rising: Austin, Tx Edition.

For those who weren’t lucky enough to witness the event, which featured performances by J. NiCS, El Da Sensei, REKS (w/ Statik Selektah) and many more reader faves, Uncle Luc was on hand to create a video chronicle of the event. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, the video capsule above provides an up-close look at many of the night’s highlights.
