An opening track on an album can make or break an entire listen. If you hate the first 3 minutes, why would you continue on? You wouldn't. "The American Dream" kicks off Ghost's "American Alien" album and I couldn't think of a more appropriate tone to set the mood. Real and not in a cool way, but a really real way is all you can ask from your favorite artists. Ghost delivers.
