If Yung Ralph were to pick one superlative to describe his career thus far, it would be “Most Unexpected.” Just a few years ago, the Atlanta rapper was sitting on his porch, cranking some hip hop, completely oblivious as to where his life might take him. Suddenly, his purpose became clear. Today, the Universal Republic signee is already two hit singles (Look Like Money and I Work Hard) deep in the game, and putting the finishing touches on his debut album, Most Unexpected. His next possible single, Like This, is about charming a girl by throwing money at her. Apparently, this isn’t an uncommon form of courting these days. Jagged Edge member Wingo jumps on for the hook, while producer Fat Boy lays down a smooth Atlanta beat. All in all, it comes together as a mainstream-sounding joint strictly for the ladies.
Charlie you couldn't have said it better, for the ladies, But the bass is banginn with this one to lol, Fat Boy? neva heard of him before, I'll be lookin out for Yung Ralph, but all in all my opinion, average track.
Fat Boy kills this production, he must have cleaned up with this one! This song has something rare with a lot of music- ENERGY. Strictly for the ladies, but I'm a man and I love this joint. Ralph also shines here, his voice is perfect for this unlike a lot of rappers who ruin great production. This is also the first time I've heard anything about Jag Edge since I saw them in concert in January (in which they were literally boo'd off the stage, no joke) so it's good to hear a little bit from at least one of their members. This song is a banger for me, and I look forward to more of Ralph but especially Fat Boy.
Wingo killed that hook man. JE needs to bring us another classic string of tracks. Them cats make good R & B plain and simple. Ralph sounds clean on this too. Remindin me of young Dro. Production is good. I like it.
The production on this is pretty smooth. I really don't like Wingo's vocals. Yung Ralph is average, but is decent. BDF44, if this was Young Dro, the song would be so much hotter.
This time I agree with u Xothermic, this isn't all that special. The production is ok but they honestly suck in my opinion! They are terribly annoying! My sis was in my room with me and said "oh my God what an horrible song"! LOL!
This is the best radio-ready joint I've ever heard from Yung Ralph. I am sure its very disappointing (for him) that his album has still remained on the back burner, but with this song in tow it shouldn't be too much longer.
