The newest addition to T.I.‘s Grand Hustle label, fellow Atlanta native Yung L.A., is ready to Crush Da Block with his forthcoming debut. The title of his debut single, Ain’t I, will remind readers of the unreleased Jay-Z/Timbaland collaboration that we featured last month; unlike Hova, however, L.A. centers his whole rap around the very phrase (think Jadakiss‘s Why). Big Kuntry, his Grand Hustle labelmate, jumps aboard the song and uses his guest verse to describe his West Side ties and many other topics that are typical of the P$C. Making Ain’t I a potential trunk-banger is the stuntin’ showcase put on by producer B. Franks, whose beat is like a fresh coat of candy-colored paint on an old-school car.
