The newest addition to T.I.‘s Grand Hustle label, fellow Atlanta native Yung L.A., is ready to Crush Da Block with his forthcoming debut. The title of his debut single, Ain’t I, will remind readers of the unreleased Jay-Z/Timbalandcollaboration that we featured last month; unlike Hova, however, L.A. centers his whole rap around the very phrase (think Jadakiss‘s Why). Big Kuntry, his Grand Hustle labelmate, jumps aboard the song and uses his guest verse to describe his West Side ties and many other topics that are typical of the P$C. Making Ain’t I a potential trunk-banger is the stuntin’ showcase put on by producer B. Franks, whose beat is like a fresh coat of candy-colored paint on an old-school car.
its not good.. and i believe i saw someone say they were going to kill themselves if another "yung" rapper appeared? this is a shame cuz i like big kuntry..featuring himself on Songs like this are probably why he's not famous.. just rich.. haha
beat sounding dope but maybe yung l.a shuda had t.i feature on here to show him how u spit it right over a dope beat not bad but wudnt put it at da top of ma playlist..
jesavail02: I can see where you feel he might sound like Rocko. I think when you have no differentiation in vocal tones, and the constant is the a-typical trapper-rapper talk, its hard to distinguish any uniqueness. That should be the goal for Yung L.A. moving forward.
First YUNG LA needs to drop the YUNG from his name, drives me nuts, lol.......then TI needs to drop him from the roster....and what is so special about Kuntry's verse, in my opinion he is just as annoying as the hook on this track...Mane!!!hot garbage
