In a society constantly fretting over epidemics (bird flu earlier this decade, and swine flu in the present day), the DJBooth.net News Team are always on the lookout for new illnesses on the verge of spreading throughout the globe. Now, we present breaking news on the latest potential virus scare: it seems that Yung Joc and his whole Swagg Team have caught the highly contagious Grind Flu. The symptoms include stuffy pockets, neck and wrist colds, and the urge to make expensive modifications to one’s automobile. The antidote? Money, of course! Fellow virus host Montana Da Mac (last seen on Girl from the South over a year ago) jumps on board to describe his own case over Cheeze‘s beat, which comes complete with sneezing sound effects likely to elicit a few ‘Bless you!‘s from Booth reviewers. If this track has you feeling a little under the weather, keep it locked to our front page for further info on Joc’s Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood LP, which has yet to receive a release date.

the hook is actually the most exciting part of the song. LOL. but, joc has some good songs, but, they arent picked as singles! i mean, i liked "real hard" and "bookoo" and he had a song called Ooh Yeah with Slim, THAT was hot. then i aint like Wham and this? is pretty wack. i mean joc either goes hard, or sucks.

Ok so deep bass is never ever a bad thing, mfz can flush a toliet and add an 808 to it and it would bang. So one for the 808 bang, and 1 for the creative concept.

i dunno bout one hit wonder, but prob like a one cd wonder. i thought his first cd had some really good songs on it. its goin down was my fav song of 08 too.
now, he jus comes out wit corny songs that have no potential. hes becoming more corny then the raining champ nick cannon. |

His songs are getting progressively cornier, but I did like "Coffee Shop" as corny as it is. This is the type of corny that just makes me shake my head. It's mildly amusing, but not enough to overshadow the fact that its not even cool. The production is boring, the sample is annoying, and Joc's flow is nuttin special at all.

Im not buying the 1 hit wonder tag either. Practically every track on New Joc City could of been a hit if released as a single.
If anything, I would be calling him a specialized featured artist, he's been making some great guest verses lately. This track is just a little to strange for my liking. I cant see this getting plays. 'Wham' is easily the best track ive heard from his next LP. I was shocked that it didnt manage to make any noise on the charts. 2.5 |

the constant distortion thorugh out the verse bothered me. i don't like this song. i'm really tempted to give this the garbage rating, because i would not want to hear this again. so by those standards... it is garbage.

It's hard to say whether its a good or a bad thing to figure out a song's hook from the title before hearing it ...
The hook starts off, and immediately I want to skip the song! ... Its not dat i was expecting more when I heard the beat and seeing this a Yung Joc track, but what more could you get with a title like that! |

I love the beat to this song and the rest of the track. I also think it's hilarious that they have that achoo in there as a sound effect. The cd I have the song goes way faster than this and I love that better but I still like it.
