While it’s been a minute since Yung Berg stepped into the Booth with a fresh solo feature (With You hit our front page way back in May 2009), the Chi-town rapper has kept himself busy in the meantime with a series of street releases. The lead single off his next tape, a collaboration with up-and-coming singer Mia Rey, The One finds beatsmith Nyrell flipping a sample from Nas’ Nas Is Like as Berg rhymes about his knack for making women fall in love. Wu-Tang icon Raekwon contributes guest rhymes. Berg and Mia’s Mickey & Mallory street album has yet to receive a drop date, but those digging this single can stay tuned for all the latest.

Good work with the classic beat change by Nyrell. I was never really a Yung Berg fan, but this is pretty good work by young dude. I like his flow over the beat and its great to see Raekwon on another track. He's always welcome. Mia does a good job on the chorus too.

I am a Yung Berg fan. I don't know why or how it happened, but I am nonetheless, a Yung Berg fan. In my opinion, when he isn't trying to act like a hard hitting gangsta, he actually does have an ear for good music. This track is a perfect example of that. He is really talented as far as making lady jams. I rest my case. Yung Berg, keep doing your thing.
