Rapper Yung Berg, who hit the mainstream hip-hop scene less than one year ago, has received loads of criticism about his work since stepping foot into “the game.” Amazingly, the Chicago-born rapper has taken it all in stride, comfortable with where he is at in his career. Fresh off the success of the dual-collaborative single with Ray J, Sexy Can I, Berg has released the official first single off the forthcoming Look What You Made Me, entitled The Business. The song, which is co-produced by Berg and in-house beatmaker Rob Holiday, features singer Casha reminding listeners that Berg ”gives me the business.” To find out if Berg delivers, musically at least, circle August 12 on your calendar and check out an exclusive DJBooth interview with Berg this Monday.
Casha has a good voice on here in the intro. I can't believe Berg would try to sound like Lil Wayne with the T-Pain machine on this one. Even the ad-libs and flow is too much like a copy-cat. I'm not feeling it because its just a carbon copy and not the real thing. No props on this on...Maybe just for the beat and the overall feel of the song; but damn...such a bite!
Casha's vocals are on point. Just because fam used the voice box, this is nothing like Lil Wayne's Lollipop. This is WAY BETTER! (The slaves of Lil Wayne will probably oppose). Rob Holiday and Yung Berg snapped on the production. This is a hit. Yung Berg's delivery was nice and he's finally found a decent single that's at least remotely close to the greatness of "Sexy Lady" last summer.
seriously lets burn all voice boxes they are pissing me off the girl is good enough and the beat is something i could play in the summer down but i really cant fuck it i wont listen to it again because i am tired of this voice box shit asswipe
Voice box is really pissin me off. If there is one thing i thought Berg had, it was a nice flow, but I am startin to doubt that. I dunno, besides the chorus this was garbage, but Casha makes it OK. Berg you get a garbage for this.
I feel like Iv heard this b4, the girl is tight and the beat it sick, but berg's gets repetitive and annoying after a while...the voicebox sounds good tho.
Song of the era once again! however this is what I was talkin bout with the smooth beats. I love the production these days! This is fire with out burg! I'm not a fan of dude. Casha kinda ok on here! The beat is what makes it work. Great sex music!
did this dude really just say "ya dig" with the synthesizer. damn, man theres 2 wayne swagger jackers' songs posted on here in 1 day. i personally thing the song would be cool to hear in the club but i wouldnt listen to it in my free time. i've never heard of casha but she's talented. yung berg needs to step up and let the people hear the talent that i've head that he has. i'd give it a 3 for the new talenr, casha but it has to be bumped back down for the swagger jackin',a hip-hop crime.
Bedroom banga nobody,s listenen to him we listenen to her tell us about the bizness could have done without him but he fits in it i guess and overall i like it
DJ Blaze couldn't have put it more correctly...he sound exactly like Lil Wayne using the voicebox...and I am not a fan of a copier...and the song isn't even that great anyways
always supported berg, and some of this track has been out for a while now, but this is solid...voicebox is corny, but nice vibe with the song...lookin forward to the album drop (whenever that finally happens)
I really like Casha's voice in the beginning, its very strong... however, the first person that i thought of when i heard the ad-libs and voice machine was lil wayne. I like the beat on this, but it just didn't seem like the "Yung Berg" type...
Well, despite all the reviews, I'm lovin this track, the 2nd time around. I remember back in the day (several months ago) a shorter version was dropped which sounded good to me then too!
This track has been "airbrush" with a more radio-friendly format & no matter what, dis is my ish!!!
yung berg is SO UNDER-RATED!
i like his flow and what he brings to hip hop
another example of his experience
in rot no doubt .....
TIGHT BEAT TOO .... SUMMER JAM!!
I've been pullin' for Yung Berg to be tight since he first came out. He's shown that he's got potential wit songs like "Sexy Lady" and "Do That There." As for this song, I don't care much for Yung Berg. The voice box thing is gettin' played out now and it might of woulda been better had he done without it. The hook is sick and it makes the song a possible hit tho.
