After death and taxes, a third almost-certain thing in life is the usage of a guest feature on a Yung Berg record (all but two songs on his debut, Look What You Made Me, feature at least one guest artist). Naturally, on the remix to his current hit, The Business, Berg has jumped on the “cram-everybody-you-can-on-the-remix” bandwagon. Following the Chicago native’s opening vocals, in order of appearance, are singer Pleasure P and emcees Twista, Cap One, Maino, and Jim Jones. While some assess that the heavy usage of collaboration signifies a lack of individual talent, Yung Berg seems to have made it an integral part of his style. The rapper’s debut album, Look What You Made Me, is out now.
Twista and Jim Jones had no buisness on this track, as for Pleasure this is his type of song. I like the original way better, they mess with the beat too much on this one.
The track sounds way smoother because they used less synth on the instrumental. Pleasure P snapped nicely. I'm glad Yung Berg didn't pick the obvious Lil Wayne feature. Twista did pretty good on here, but I would've preferred a younger cat spitting on this younger swag track. Casha sounds lovely as ever. Maino (which didn't sound like him...so I'm not sure if y'all got that right in the info) sounded really wack on this track. Jim Jones sounded unusually smooth on this joint as far as his vocal presence was concerned, though he went on and the beat a tad bit. I really dig the vibe though, it's really smooth and it wasn't too long. I won't say it's better than the original, but I'll throw it in rotation.
Pretty good remix. I say pretty good because of the fact that Yung Berg recruited a pretty random but good cast for the guest features. Twista does his thing here, I always thought of him rapping on this track when the original came out. Pleasure does his thing too, and the others are hot as well. Berg is steppin his game up, and I think its resulting in some respect from some major hip hop heavyweights. Looking forward to see waht else he puts out, but this is a 3.
It's actually a pretty good remix, but it's not as good as the original. The original was a really mediocre song, but the beat and Casha worked really well together. It gave the original a sensual feel to the track, which made the track surprisingly good sounding. This remix definitely took what was good about the track and just turned it into a bit of a mess.
The beat has alway been nice. My problem has always been Burg. Twista made this. Casha sounds clearer on this version. "SHE's my dark skin" lmao I see you nigga. Anyway yea, this one is better to me than the Og!
This remix whoops the a** of the original version. Although none of the guest features really get the time to do their full-thing, each of their inclusions made the overall effort more impressive. Rob Holiday needs to start doing other artists work... dude has skills.
EHh, i think I coulda done without this. The whole time, I was waitin for Casha to sing the hook. And when she did, she switched it up in a way that pretty much sounded wack to me.
Pleasure iz tha SEX-C-EST MAN ON THIZ PLANET...ugh he can give me tha business anytime=)....i wish jim jones wuznt on thiz track- he doesnt have a sex-c voice @ all.
Oh my God who is that gay who sings the first part of the first verse? I can't recognise a man from another. Gay isn't meant to be an offence, it's that his way of singing is too effeminate for my tastes lol! Anyway this song isn't bad, but too crowded. I have already expressed my perplexity towards songs with too people singing, to me 2 guests are already too many! the production is really good...it's ok, I don't think it will be a radio play, maybe I'm wrong
I think that it was a pretty nice collabo you have Pleasure P (for the ladies), Twista, Maino and Jim Jones (for the streets), and Cap One (for the underground and underrated). Young Berg knew what he was doing. But he needs to release this as well as a solid follow-up before it's too late and he flops.
pleasure p seriously needs to use the advantage of his voice because the man can sing better than most, nothin but a number on pretty rickys first CD proves my point, but he never goes all out... this remix is just aight, im not big on berg so i dont listen to the og version too much but i like the hook, this song died after casha hit the hook after twista tho cos maino did nothin special, im not a fan of jim jones, and cap one also did nothin to make this special...3 stars for pleasure p, twista, and casha.
I'm lovin it. It's nice Go Pleasure! I always will love Yung Berg. Twista a played but brought it. Casha seemed better in the original.Jim Jones seems likes he's just talking. I like the original better but it's nice.
