After ATL duo YoungBloodz released their third album, Ev’rybody Know Me, in 2005, the plan was for Sean P and J-Bo to each release a solo album before the group’s next effort. While several of the buzz singles from both artists have reached DJBooth, for some reason the LaFace/Jive executives haven’t seen either Very Necessary or Going Hard as a priority on the release schedule. Realizing they can get back on the major airwaves if they reunited, YBZ is back to promote their upcoming fourth studio album, tentatively titled Bad Influence. For the first buzz single, the duo are back to what they’re known for in their music, Ridn’ Through Atlanta in a candy-painted car. For anyone who might be disappointed by the sound, I guarantee it’s going to be a banger in its proper setting, the whip.
This song is okay. Doesn't live up to previous YoungBloodZ Songs. It just doesn't get me crunk.
Besides that it has a decent beat(could be better) with some nice lyrics.
Sean P and J-Bo work better together, than either could work solo. Jive might actually push them to get a new project completed by the end of the summer. Solid.
More violins ... I love it. The scratching adds a nice touch. I can mess with this track right here. Flow is nice--Sean P is underrated as an artist? This gets a 3.5 rating.
its alright but where is that classic youngbloodz beat that get you crunk and act a fool, i think i can see myself ridin to this in atlanta (A-town stand shawty!!!!!)
this is a straight banger right here...I wonder who produced it ? Sounds like Kane Beatz to me...
Sean P is underrated as hell, his flow is pure insanity...
Youngbloodz might be one of the last south groups I can actually stand to listen to. Sounds like the chorus is a T.I vocal sample. I wasn't sure, because it was mentioned on here.
Always like when there is scratching on a beat. Always have liked Youngbloodz swag they have on a track this ones not as good as some of there other tracks but its still a banger.
This song has a great combination of sounds: violins, scratching, and a spooky-ish vocals in the background. It's def. a song i'd listen to in my car...i'm reallllly feelin the beat b/c it's so different.
First time I heard it, I thought. THIS SH*T'S HOT. But after I listened to it couple times, it's not too hot. The beat is great, the flow is okay, but not -GREAT-. So, I'll give this one a 2.5
I missed these two together on a track. I really like a few of Sean P. solo tracks, but I agree they work better together than as solo artists. Anyway, this one is a banger fosho. I think I'll play it again. Good work.
Ive been waitin forever for these dudes to reunite and bring back their bumpin flow and beats.
I still got their old stuff and bump it every day.
I'll be so glad if they are anythin like they used to be.
This song doesn't quite live up to wat i expected.
Still pretty good tho. 4 stars
