Coming straight outta South Jersey is R&B singer, Young Steff. The 18-year old crooner, previously signed to Roc-A-Fella Records before Jay-Z and Dame Dash split, was nabbed by producer Rich Harrison and will be the first artist on his label, Richcraft Records. His debut single, Dat Gurl Right Dere, has all the elements of a typical modern day R&B single: an up tempo beat (in this case, courtesy of Harrison), lyrics about a certain lady (Wonder Woman, Look At Her), and a featured rap verse (in this case, by Mr. A Bay Bay, Hurricane Chris). Bottom line: Rich Harrison knows the business of R&B well, and if Dat Gurl Right Dere is any indicator, Young Steff will have a very successful future.
