Like many nine-to-fivers, Young Jeezy looks forward to the weekend as a time to kick back and unwind. Of course, when you’re a full-time thug, “unwinding” takes on a different meaning than for your average working man or woman. On Lose My Mind, the latest street single off his forthcoming senior major label release, Jeezy gives us a lesson on how a true G decompresses from the daily grind: by soaking those stressed-out neurons in a rejuvenating broth of weed smoke and Rozay. After the headliner’s opening bars, Plies steps up to the podium for a guest lecture. Over Drumma Boy‘s bass-booming synth-brass instrumental, the Opa Locka goon extols the therapeutic virtues of such relaxation techniques as getting blackout drunk (and then drinking more!), and, uh, f***king white girls. So, readers, is this edu-taining joint crazy-good, or just plain crazy? Those who pick the former can expect plenty more wise words on Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 103 LP, which still has yet to receive a release date from the label brass.

I thought this was a pretty dope track, the production is exactly the sort that Jeezy thrives over. Plies screaming was a little annoying, though it didnt take anything away from a pretty solid track

Eh, not impressed. Drumma Boy turned in an impressive effort on the production tip, but the vocal efforts by Jeezy and Plies didn't leave me excited for this new album. I hope there is something better coming on the "radio" single haha.

This song is good but it does not have that hit factor to appeal to a mainstream audience.The song and beat is catchy and will get notice in mainly down south. On the other hand,the chorus and verses of the song are not as catchy as other songs Young Jeezy is known for such as put on or an then what.

This track grew on me as it went. I love the production. Average from Jeezy. Plies's verse was suprisingly enjoyable. Talkin about how all his friends have robbed his mom. hahaha.
I'm still not sure about 103. I saw Jeezy live in Greensboro Sunday. He barely rapped 1/3 of his lyrics; he's nothing special live. Then again, he was with Jay so he may have been overshadowed. 3.5 |

I am a lil disappointed he collaborated wit PLIES... I think the song would have been better if he was solo on dis joint. New look but I like Jeezy solo. Not 2 hot bout this song. Its kinda lame.

I totally understand that everyone has an opinion on these things, but when you're in the club and this comes on and the entire place starts rockin', that's a true testament to this being a crowd pleaser. Plies brings his own thing- yeah he's screamin but his voice has the ebility to get the crowd krunk. Honestly, I think that's what makes it a BANGER!
