Make sure you’re sitting down, because this doesn’t happen often. Ready? I was wrong. Back when I wrote my review of Jeezy’s The Recession I said he was a hip-hop action hero, big on muscle but short on depth. Despite my haterism, Jeezy has been slowly but surely improving his emcee abilities, as evidenced by his new cut I Got This (Don’t Worry). Over some soulful production from producer Beewirks, the Snowman continues his march to become the hood’s truest representative, telling his people not to worry, he’s got them taken care of. Now I’m not saying the man is suddenly Nas, he does rhyme “ni**er” with “ni**er” about 47 times, but his skills behind the mic have undeniably improved: “The only thing they ever sold was they soul.” Does the Booth agree? I Got This is off Jeezy’s upcoming album Thug Motivations 103, which currently has no release date.

I have a feeling this is gonna be one of those songs that everyone likes but me. I am really hoping this isn't the lead single because it is nowhere on the level of 'Put On' or any of his other hits. I really didn't like this at all to be honest. Aside from that boring beat, Jeezy came with a very predicted flow and completely overused the N word. Lame.

A welcome change of pace for Jeezy, whose last album I did not like at all. Its nice to hear an artist develop a more diverse sound, while staying true to who he is as an emcee. This is why people respect the hell out of this man.

I thought this was kinda tight. The production was cool and Jeezy came with his traditional flow. I don't see how he has really improved. I mean he had some tight lines but I've heard him spit some tight lines before. Never been the best lyricist, but this song still holds the elements that have made Jeezy great. 3.5 rating, always looking forward to his albums though.

This is the type of song that should just stay on the album. Jeezy has improved his lyrics, flow, and beat selection but saying ni**a after every word is ridiculous and why would you have a song that's slow and a little boring as the first single?

I'm in the same camp as K-Flow. There was definitely a time I thought Jeezy was repetitive and basic (I'm even on record writing about it at length) but the more I listened to The Recession the more I liked it. Jeezy isn't groundbreaking, but the man does what he does damn well, and I'm now finding myself bumping tracks like I Got This on the regular.

Damn! that production is not bad at all, just the types I dig (the soulful sampled ones) but Jeezy's annoying voice and over-repetitive hook are really bothering me to the point where I didn’t want to make me keep listening this track any longer. Overall, another beat done wasted ... 1.5

It's a banger...I really don't understand the low ratings...Jeezy savin' his best for last..I mean afterall..This is going 2 be on Thug Motivation 103..I don't think this will be the lead single for the album....But it is a good track & mixtape ready so.....

Jeezy isn't telling me anything in this song. Ive never had a problem with him just never really viewed him as an emcee. all he has going for him is his raspy voice. That and when he gets a hot beat he can put out a banger. Other than that Im not feelin this song. I dont get any energy from the beat. It sounds crisp though.
