Atlanta native Young Envy has gone through numerous traumas in the course of his life. After losing both his parents as a preteen, the 18-year-old became extra-determined to make a name for himself on the hip-hop scene. Recently signed to So So Def/Island Urban, the DJBooth is proud to present I Like Her, the underground single that helped get him a record deal. Self-produced (along with J Mercy), Envy utilizes a simplistic rhyme scheme and successful formula to talk about a female he’s really getting into. This beat is HARD right here! I am really feeling the production! Good move for So So Def! His flow is somewhat different; so I think it has potential to last in the game! The Chorus is HOT and this is THUMPIN!!! BANGER

Very catchy tune. Therefore, I don't see why it wouldn't catch on--especially at the club. It has the same flavor as its predecessors. Basic flow but you don't need to get too sophisticated with your flow when you are trying to produce a club banger.
