Ask any great team athlete to name two important characteristics that they utilize during competition and they’ll say “leadership and confidence” (I used to cover Chicago Bears football games, I’ve asked). Unfortunately, for Young Dro’s label Grand Hustle, its leader isn’t in a position to currently lead. Confident in his abilities both as an MC and a representative of his label, Dro reveals to the whole world “Put The House On Me” off his recently-released mixtape project, Young Dro: I Am Legend. Over a guitar-infused beat courtesy of producer Serious, Dro proudly and assuredly tells his listeners he is up for the ultimate challenge of his career. Does he have what it takes?
To me the lyrics are pretty bad on this track. I also think that the beat was just thrown together rather cheaply and just given a generic chorus. This is hip-hop at its worst!
This is definately a mixtape track, sounds choppy. Dro needs to come harder after "Best Thang Smokin'." And DJ Z, you said you used to cover great athletes with the Chicago Bears??? Was that back in the Super Bowl Shuffle days, cuz they haven't been too great ever since then! LOL
What the? This is not what I'm used to from Dro. I like the beat a lot even though it is a little choppy and "rock music" like. His flow isn't nearly as good as usual and his lyrics are also below par. Overall it's an OK song
Wow look at the ratings........I will first admit that I plucks with Dro....and this aint as bad as its being rating...the beat is hurting him if you ask me...but Dro delivers
This song was so bad I couldn't even finish it. The beat is an awful attempt to try and cash in on the "hood-rock" genre, which needs to slip into extinction. I don't mind MC's trying to rap over rock inspired beats, but at least make a quality song. Just because you throw an electric guitar over a drum track doesn't automatically make it a hit. The song sounds amateur and is all together bad.
mmoore: I believe Brian Urlacher is considered great among many circles. Oh, and that Devin Hester guy is pretty good too. C'mon now! Don't hate on my Bears!!! MJB, I agree, he sounds like RULE on this.
to me this shiz is the bomb .... beat is sick .... i mean its like that "crunk rock" .... its kinda new ... and its tight .... idk y its this low but .... its goin to be played ha
itz pretty good for a mixtape filler... the beat seems choppy n slightly unorganized n dro's verses have been better but da overall flow is nice its like a collage or sumthin
man screw yu guys...this shyt is sweet... come on...ur gonna give it a rating of 1 and shyt like that...it is way better then that man...yu guys shouldnt even comment on it if thats wat ur gonna comment...anyways this is a sick song...im givin it a 4 cuz thats wat it should get
You gave to some garbage high ratings, this ain't that good and ain't that bad, either. I've heard a lot lot lot worse! At least the beat is catchy...ok I don't understand much about high and low-level hip hop, just like this lol
none of u know where this bea is from? wow. it is nice cause it is the power rangers song. he took the beat of that and put his own twist to it. if any artist can do that then u know it must be good.
