The 26th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Young De, an indie emcee introduced to the Booth via his guest contribution to B-Real‘s Laugh. De, who flows over an original beat by producer Los on his brand new, previously-unreleased Bounce freestyle, is currently working on his yet-untitled debut album. In the meantime, the West Coast up-and-comer can be found on five tracks (counting the aforementioned Laugh) off B-Real’s recently-released Smoke N’ Mirrors, and is also slated to appear on Cypress Hill‘s ninth LP (due out this year).

The beat is pedestrian and the lyrics are flatter than unleavened bread... all that said I would call this competent but forgettable.
