Young Buck takes time away from his feverous party singles to stroll through a more introspective, almost mournful part of his life, in the song Slow Your Roll. Buck reminisces over a Dr. Dre beat on times past and looks to his tatted arms as a reminder of all those lost so dear to him. Unfortunately, this song takes a turn for the worse when crooner Chester Bennington takes the helm for the bridge. Before you can even ask yourself “Who is this dude singing?” you get stuck on the question “What did 50 have against Ja Rule’s material again?” Though the collaboration seems forced, it should help Buck with continued radio play.
no lie G-UNIT for life young buck...... damn this song nice if you listen to the lyrics no lie..... to ma nigga in jail adrain cashtro slow your roll we still here waiting for you arebody in trinity ya digg
I’m impressed, Young Buck showin some lyrical skill. Lochy’s right, Chester Bennington ruins it. Was Lyfe Jennings booked? We’ll have to see how much longer Buck’s with G-Unit.
Awww man. This song started to get good when all of a sudden i hear whiteboy chester bust out with some rock n roll @*#$!. He just had to go and mess up the first song i liked by Buck.
I’m a fan of chester and linkin park, but this song wasnt for him. Can we get a radio edit? Or a remix or somethin?
