Typically, if a record is produced by Timbaland it’s likely to be a hit. This theory is proven correct once again with a single from up and coming rapper, Young Blaze. When you listen to Somethin’ Gon Bang, something does bang and it starts at your speakers! Young Blaze’s rapid fire lyrics cut like a knife and the beat is a mixture of synth sounds and bone crushing bass. If this song is any indication, Young Blaze is going to be one of Chi-towns finest in no time.
The beat is just fine to me. In fact it’s similar to that Hov track Dirt Off Ya Shoulder and the guy’s flow is almost identical to Hov’s flow on it. but no hate, it’s still a crazy beat, liked it then and still like it now. The guy ain’t Hov but he ain’t bow wow lol. I’d play it in the clubs.
