Remember way back in November of 2010 when DJBooth favorite Yonas first promised a certain lady that there was Nobody Else for him? Well in the meantime he’s found at least one other dope emcee who share his sentiments, though hopefully not for the same girl, as evidenced on the remix of the previously Booth approved song. Sean Divine’s melodically captivating yet strong production remains unchanged, as does Yonas’ lyrically uplifting opening verse, meaning the real difference here comes in the form of DMV representer Phil Adé’s rhyme work. Speaking of which, Ade gets serious for his 16, leaving behind his usually punchline heavy flow - though he can’t help but drop a hilarious Akon reference - laying down his own homage to the true beauty of women everywhere. Oh, and our very own DJ Z was responsible for connecting to two emcees; what more could you ask for? Actually, you could ask for a full-length project from Yonas, which will arrive in the form of The Proven Theory, available here for purchase.

This is the song that turned me into one of Yonas' biggest fans. It's still his best song to date, and was one of the best of 2010. Phil doesn't do bad here, but you can tell he's not on Yonas' level or wavelength. As a standalone song, 3 stars.
Can't wait for this album though. |

Eh this remix is so much like the original that it's almost like why bother, but considering that the original was a classic you can't really go wrong either. Still waiting for Yonas to get signed. Hopefully "The Proven Theory" will make that happen.

I am biased because I A&Red; the record, but with or without my assistance is a dynamite track. Glad two promising young artists could get the chance to work together with one another.

This might have been mentioned before, but damn I hear Tupac all over this track. From the concept, to Yonas's flow and lyrics, even the chorus adlibs. Obviously not the entire track, but am I alone here? Anyways, nice track, 3.5.

This is a feel good joint where the hook is concerned. I think this was a good pairing of talent and the track was smooth from start to finish. Thanks Z!

I will cry when Yonas gets signed. For real.
Alright, I won't cry, but I will most definitely buy his first album when it does happen. God *#&@ I LOVE his music. And when he gets some money behind it...Oh my...Lions, tigers, and bears, OH MY!!! If I could give a 4.5 I would, but unfortunately I will round down in this exception (for those not in tune with math, a 5 is supposed to round UP ;) ) but it was damn close. Good song homie, I expect so much from you (Yonas). |

Not as good as the orginal, but Ade's guest spot was well deserved.
