When I saw Yonas in my inbox this morning, I was afraid that this would be the day that he makes a less-than-average track, and that I’d have to deliver the sad message to Booth listeners. It’s hard enough to be considered good, but to be consistently great is nearly impossible. Well, as we heard on his former track Mindless, and now on his new effort New World Order, impossible is nothing to Yonas. Sean Divine lays down a sick fast-paced and club ready production that Yonas uses to spit lyrical fire like: “Treating every city like it’s our town/ we don’t just take it for the night this s*** is ours now/ everyone in rap is a beast or a so-called animal, well I’m gonna burn the barn down.” It’s that type of dopeness the crowd at Webster Hall was treated to last Saturday during Yonas’ DJBooth-sponsored show. What, you couldn’t make it out? Don’t feel (too) terrible, I’m sure there’s more Yonas coming soon, as well as the release of his still unscheduled Seven EP. That’s right, it’s the dawning of a new world hip-hop order.

Haha wow, Yonas absolutely killed this track. From the verses to the insane hook, this is the Yonas I can come to know and love. Production was pretty nice as well, but nothing is gonna top the verses. Looking forward to hearing more.

Yonas comes through so solid every single time, it amazes me how this man, who has great production backing him, and who has such a smooth and different flow and delivery, he never comes off stale or boring. It's almost like every record is just a continuation of the last, and picks up right were the dopeness on the last record left off. He is yet to lose momentum and I don't see it happening anytime soon. Yonas keep putting out great work fam.

the booth is being blessed with lots of young, consistent up n coming rappers and yonas is at the top of that list. he affirms his position with this offering. catchy beat, edgy vocals and some dope rhymes.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I wasn't that impressed by the beat. It's decent, just not that great. However, Yonas absolutely killed his vocals - DJ snipes is right, that black Jack Bauer line was crazy. It's only a matter of time before we're talking about Yonas as one of the best young talents in the game.

From the first second of this song I fell in love... He's going far out with his lyrics, taking some risks with his accusations and etc. and he's slightly attractive, so watch girls hop on that dick like a pogo stick. He's gonna become popular fast!

After hearing this and other Yonas features I'm a fan, of his style which is packaged well, and has radio appeal without sounding too mainstream. Waiting for the Seven EP.

It's not that this is some innovative beat or something, it is just that when you hear it, you can't help but move. Yonas goes hard and keeps pace the whole track. This right here is called a BANGER!
