Yo Gotti - Look in the Mirror (Remix)
, Wiz Khalifa , WaleProducer: Shawty Redd & D. Rich
Album: Live From the Kitchen
Label: CMG/Polo Grounds/RCA
In a famous Greek legend, the vain Narcissus fell so deeply in love with his reflection in a pool of water that he found himself rooted to the spot, unable to look away even to save his life. If you don’t hear from Yo Gotti for a few months, you can safely assume that he’s met a similar fate – as he explains on current single Look in the Mirror, the Memphis native just can’t get enough of… himself. On this officially remixed version of the cut, Gotti is joined by a three-pack of Booth favorites. While D.C. heavyweight Wale, Steel City kush fiend Wiz Khalifa and Roc Nation representative J. Cole may not seem like obvious choices to go in over Shawty Redd and D. Rich‘s trunk-banging production, the collaborators prove that (self)love knows no regional boundaries, each peppering the track with dopely narcissistic lyrical fire. It’s kinda heartwarming, really. I’ll leave it to Booth readers to decide which emcee came out on top, but those left craving more should most definitely keep it locked for the latest on Live From the Kitchen, currently set to drop in December.

This is Yo Gotti saying to his non-fans, "Look at the co-signs I got!" I have to admit, I am impressed. This is a monster line-up of buzzing guest features for a remix. I am not in love with the production, but everyone kills it (especially Cole).

man, that is one annoying chorus. anyway, Cole is at the top on this song, followed by Wale, then Khalifa and lastly and certainly most least...Gotti.

I was impressed by some of Gotti's lines, but yeah, I'd say Cole >Wale >Wiz >Gotti. I never heard the originla, but with the names on this one, a lot of people will be listening.

At first I was surprised by this line-up, but none of them are really that surprising. Cole is a Southern emcee, Wale's been making some obvious attempts to expand his fan base South of the border (see that cut he did with Waka) and Wiz will rhyme with anyone who's got an 1/8th (joking).
Anyway, some nice verses, but that beat's not really hitting me, and that chorus is aggravating. I'll round out to three stars. |

I really like this song alot, and I felt that J. Cole and Wiz went in. Wale was nice, too.
I'm going to forget that Yo Gotti is on this track and then give it a 5. It should be J. Cole ft. Wiz Khalifa and Wale |

Finally found a song with J.cole in it that he was good in to me. He killed that. Wiz Khalifa was 2nd best over Wale for me on this one. J.Cole just blew everyone out of the water on that one.

Cole is the clear winner, but the beat/hook doesnt do the MCs justice. With some better production this could have really knocked. Ill pass.

Pretty good song coming from Yo Gotti. J. Cole was definitely the stand out on the track for sure. Hopefully "Live From The Kitchen" won't see any more push backs.

The first half was sluggish and then Cole finally got the track out the mud and Wiz came through to finish the track off proper

Production was a mess - sloppy - was attempting to be dramatic and menacing but didn't quite match up - Gotti verse was elementary, Wale and J. Cole laced the best lines - Wiz I expected more -
