What does success look like? Yo Dot, however, is thinking slightly smaller for the time being. As the DJBooth newcomer puts it on this inaugural mixtape leak, an exclusive world premiere, “I’m Just Trying to Live.” Backed by Deonte Hayes’ tuneful production, the artist reflects on the frustration of seeing circumstance thwart even the humblest ambitions. Tight work by Yo Dot. I never heard of him before, but he definitely bullied this Deonte Hayes beat. Sick flow and the chorus was that real-$hit. Terry-T was good too.

AWESOME CUZZO! I love the beat...smooth but still has your head bobing. I love te lyrics....here's truth and meaning behin them! Many people will be able to relate! You did a wonderfully amazing job! This is that inspirational track you throw on when the world does what it does best, knock you on your ass. It says, "Stand back up, homey." and it lends you the hand to do it with. The whole project is saturated with this energy. Good work on the hook Logic. It's seamless. Terry T. has that life experience in his voice that belongs on a beat like this.
