YG - Hell Yeah
Artist: YG
Featuring: Chris Brown , Tyga
Producer: G. Casso
Album: Just Re'd Up
Label: Def Jam Records
Would you like to hear YG join forces with Young Money representative Tyga and R&B heavyweight Chris Brown on a brand new single? If you answered that question with a hearty “Hell yeah,” then allow me to present… Hell Yeah. On the latest selection off his forthcoming Def Jam debut, the Compton representative who brought us weed-money-and-b*tches anthem In Tha Morning tries his hand at a full-fledged ladies’ jam; backed by G. Casso‘s cozy, synth-driven production, the young emcee indulges in some pillow talk with his girl, responding to her every sexual demand with an enthusiastic affirmative. Tyga continues in a similarly lustful vein on the middle, notably – and hilariously – assuring the object of his affections that she need not fret over transportation home: “Don’t worry about where your car is / I’ma give you this d*ck to ride.” The hook, of course, falls to Chris Breezy, who tops it all off with a pop-appealing chorus. Catchy melody, call-and-response hook, risque subject matter – could YG have a hit on his hands? Those who answered that one with a “Hell yeah” should keep it locked for the latest on Just Re’d Up, which has yet to receive a solid release date.

The song is catchy, but what differentiates "Hell Yeah" from the _________ record you're listening to at radio right now? Maybe that was the plan? Its hard to know what the goal is these days at major labels. We shall see if this gets YG's collar to pop (figuratively).

This is pretty legit. I think that it is good for what it is. I don't think that this will get much radio play though.. but thats just me, it could be every other song on every other radio in a few months too... who knows...

There is nothing special about this track. While I can manage to listen to it, it’s pretty generic. The verses provided by Tyga and YG were average, and I would have liked to hear more from Chris Brown. Overall, the beat and hook make this song worth a listen or two, but it isn’t worth getting excited about.

it sounds like YG is juss a feature of this track..sorta disapointing since i really enjoyed 'In the morning'...tygas verse was proper but what made this song worth while was chris's hook and the nice laid back beatt.

Maybe for some, but not for me. Nothing to hate on, it just sounds formulaic to me. What really makes this stand out from the crowd?

Its fits nicely with the pop hits today and maan that hook is nice (Breezy never fails on these kind off hooks). I liked Tyga's verse the most. I feel hard pressed to give it four stars only bc I like it as a ladies jam BUT there is nothing special, infact its generic. So 3 stars.

why would I need to hear YG talk about a girl touching his tennis ball? Chris brown is the only one who was good here..

It is formulaic, but that certainly doesn't make it a bad song. To me its not great, but it's quality and I can vibe to it.

I agree with everybody on here. YG was pretty weak, Tyga was okay, and Chris pretty much made the song.

I don’t think this is hit material. YG’s flow didn’t seem to fit the song that well, while Tyga’s flow was far from perfect.

Not bad... I'll give it a 4/5. It's more like 3.5 but Breezy makes this a four for that chorus..
