It’s only been a couple months since Alabama native Yelawolf made his debut on the Booth with I Wish, but he’s earned such a following in that short time it feels like he’s been blowing up our pages for years. Back with the new single of his upcoming mixtape Trunk Muzik, Yela has teamed up with UGK-for-lifer Bun B and they’re both definitely Good to Go. Yela makes the most of Good to Go’s certified banger of a beat (courtesy of Will Power for Supa Hot Beats), using the rolling production to prove that he can pick up the pace with the best of them while still maintaining the lyrical originality he’s know for: “Walk with a limp and I talk with a lingo, party with a bunch of bad girls in a Pinto.” Who else would shout out a Pinto? Even more notably Bun B follows suit and spits a rapid fire verse himself; I haven’t heard the man go this fast in years. 2010 is sure to start off fresh when Yela drops Trunk Muzik on January 1, right here on DJBooth.net.

This track is hard. Yelawolf has one of the dopest flow, he reminds me of Busta Rhymes when he gets pumped up and animated. @ Z, hell yeah! Bun nearly outshines rappers, though Yela held his own.

I may be a little biased being from H-town but Bun-B has been recently murdering every track he has blessed with his appearance. Yelawolf's flow was pretty sick too. Bow down to the King of Trill!!!

Change the certified street-ready but highly generic beat and put lil more thought behind hook, and I would've happily rated it a banger!
As for now, both YelaWolf and Bun B riding the track with solid double time steelo alone puts this into Rotation fa sho! Im looking forward to hearing/bumping "Trunk Muzik" mixtape on January 1st. |

Yelawolf is super sick wit it. In this song he had that blitzkreig flow (fast, but lucid) reminiscent of the old Busta Rhymes. And Bun B is always reliable.

O man this is RIDICULOUS!! When Yela started flowing i got chills down my spine as i haven't heard someone flow like that in a while.... and don't even get me started on Bun B but to sum it up he tore this beat to pieces!!

I have had this on repeat since I heard it on RH the other day, it is just BANGING!! Love the fast flow from Yela AND really nice to see Bun B come fast like that! He could not have come up with a better name for his mixtape "Trunk Muzik" is exactly what this is!! LOVE IT!
