If you’re suffering from sub-par skills, don’t go crying to Xzibit—sucker emcees expecting a “There, there” will get nothing but a big fat “So What?” from the West Coast rapper/actor/ride-pimper.  Premiered recently on 2DopeBoyz.com, the first official leak off Mr. Grustle & Tha Russian’s Dubstep LA: Embrace The Renaissance (Vol. 1) mixtape sees X leveling one colossal sneer at the rest of the game, delivering dis after bilious dis over D1‘s grimy, bass-booming beat.  The L.A. native’s forcefully-flowed trash talk comes sandwiched between equally aggressive bars from Y-O and Thurzday of Inglewood duo U-N-I, and, while Spongebob Squarepants references may not exactly scream “street,” the Booth-acclaimed twosome come with enough blunted braggadocio and witty wordplay to ensure that this cut gets much more than an indifferent “So What?” from our regulars.  If you like what you’re hearing, stay tuned for release details on Embrace the Renaissance—the Cashmere Agency-presented street album is set to hit the ‘net “soon.”

Its OK Xzibit was the best. He could have told them other guys to go harder than that.

I'd actually like to hear some more from X. I was listening back to some of his old stuff the other day and he's got some talent in him. "My Name" with Eminem is a forgotten classic; straight crazy.

Anyways, I'm feeling the production on this. Nothing mind blowing but more than enough for a talented MC to spit over. With that said, I'm not a fan of U-N-I's contribution but X definitely shined on here. With a new hook and 3 X verses this could've been a banger.

Damn, this goes hard. Instead of saying I'd like to hear either U-N-I or X on the whole record... how about a bunch of [full] brand new records from both? Asking too much? I don't think so.

X murdered this beat! I wasn't feelin the other dudes though. This would be a dope track if they could hang with Mr. X to the Z.

Production is kinda similar to Snoop's "Slumdog Millionaire" and its definitely something more aggressive than usual for UNI, though, not their best lyrical performance and that kinda brings it down. X rides it nicely, always been a fan of his delivery/voice. Overall, I like it, it bumps, and a good mixture of styles ... Rotation-Stuff.

D1's beat was pretty solid. X threw down on this track. It's been awhile since I've heard him, but I was a fan of lots of songs in his earlier days (including "My Name" and all of the other songs he had with Em). U-N-I were straight on this as well. It's not the best track, but it's not terrible.
