What’s got two thumbs and knows how to spit rhymes? No, it’s not this guy—I’m probably only marginally better at spitting rhymes than your four-year-old sister. It’s that guy; you know, the guy whose name is at the top of this entry next to the word “Awesome.” Previously included on this year’s Zeros Heroes mixtape but revamped for use as the title track and latest single off XV‘s next EP, this upbeat jam finds frequent Vizzy collaborator Seven layering radiant keyboard riffs over an exuberant rhythm section as the Wichita-repping Booth fave fills us in on just how f*cking fantastic he’s doing. When he’s not talking himself up, he finds time to drop references to pop-cultural touchstones from The Wayans Bros. and Full House to Death Proof and Dragonball Z. Pusha T guests, telling us just how great he’s feeling about his budding solo career on the back: “My solo discography, I’m building it / Now every time you hit spacebar, I’m killin’ it.” Digging it? Fans can find this cut and four more fresh records (including another Zero Heroesinclusion, Swervin) on XV’s Awesome EP, scheduled to drop this November.

Thought this record had potential this spring when Vizzy dropped it post-mixtape release. Glad to see Warner decided to roll the dice and push as a single. This sounds like a winner to me. If not, I don't know what they're looking for from XV.

I've been following XV since the booth introduced him to me about two years back and every mixtape that he has dropped since then has made me like him even more. This has an early to mid 2000's flow and I love it. Vizzy's flow as always is on point with and Pusha has been on point lately. I really like the production by Seven. Hopefully this'll make it on the album, if and when it decides to get a release date.

This goes hard right here! Sick production, nice chorus, and good delivery by XV & Pusha! This would bump in the car, the crib, and the club. Good $hit! DJ BLAZE BANGER Status.

This was on Zero Heroes but the beat sounds tweaked a bit. So many quotables from XV as usual, I love this song man.
"I'm A.W.E., SOME call me awesome, some call my vizzy, ladies call me often" "Jesus Christ I'm good, please don't cross em" |

What can I say about this song? I've heard it hundreds of times and never tire of it. Perfection.
There are some fun songs that try far too hard to get you to love them, and then there are those that are so effortless that you can’t help but be completely charmed. This absolutely falls into the latter category with no difficulty whatsoever. It's got that infectious hook that no one can resist -- the kind you'd climb a mountain just to be able to play from the very top of the world. It's an anthem, and we all know how much everybody loves anthems. "Everybody's Nobody" have a handful of strong potential singles produced by Seven, but I agree with @Z this is the best of the bunch. Full to the brim with charm and simple melodies, it does have an undeniable pop surge to it, and is possibly one of the best example of simple but effective production !! As far as XV, I'd say the quality of his punchline-ridden rhymes has stood the test of time remarkably well. Plus, Pusha T adds a memorable verse that too effortlessly seams into the hook. It is a foregone conclusion that this song (with no big superstar feature) will be dominating the charts. But if you do get a chance to hear it, you can consider yourself very Awesome. For what this song does, the feel-good vibe it brings, I can not rate this any lower than 5-stars! |

This came out a while ago but it's still dope. With this cut on NBA 2k12's soundtrack, XV is finally getting the attention he deserves.

It's crazy the quality this guy produces. I listen to tracks to some of my fav big time artists like T.I and it's literally hit or miss if I'm going to dig the track or not. This guy it's almost a guarantee I'm going to like it before I even hit listen and this is no difference. Part of me wants him to make it big, the other part is worried it will change the quality. Keep doing what your doing XV either way!
