Wrekonize - Declaration
Artist: Wrekonize
Producer: Plex Luthor
Album: Untitled Solo Project
Label: Strange Music
The 223rd entry in DJBooth.net and StreetAmmo‘s Exclusive Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Wrekonize, the Miami native (and ¡MAYDAY! member) who earned reader acclaim for Groundwork (Remix). On his brand new, exclusive Declaration freestyle, the ¡MAYDAY! Music/Latchkey Records emcee flows over original boardwork by crewmate Plex Luthor. Wrekonize is currently working on a yet-untitled solo project, set for release in mid-to-late 2011, as well as a new ¡MAYDAY! album and a potential sequel to last year’s acclaimed Lords of the Fly street album. Keep it locked for release details!
But wait, it gets doper. For 15% off on all of StreetAmmo’s fresh gear, visit streetammo.com and enter the exclusive code, “streetbooth”. We know, we know. You’re welcome.

The Freestyle Series is baaaaaaaaaack, baby! And who better to kick it off then our friends from Miami. "Declaration" is why we started the series... dope rhymes over dope beats, exclusively for the Booth community.

Nice beat and flow, but if it was longer it could have been great.

Guys, its supposed to be short. Its just a freestyle, not a full-length song. Follow the series...

Great to have the series back, especially with dopeness like this. The man of Mayday are definitely on their own sh*t, and that originality and creativity is all over the place here.
And Z, I think folks feedback is fair. Freestyles aren't supposed to be ten minute long Kanye epics, but if the people wanted to hear more they wanted to hear more. That's actually a compliment to Wrek. |

Definately enjoyable, freestyle is the heart of hip hop, beat was good, I agree that it was short, but everyone who wanted more should tune in, that's the point of these freestyles, to wet your pallet for more.
