It’s safe to assume that Wordsmith doesn’t play a whole lot of tennis – otherwise, he might have titled his newest mixtape record Game Set Match rather than Game Set Point. Whether this was a deliberate choice or a simple oversight is irrelevant, however, as the record has pretty much nothing to do with the sport; trading a clay court for a horn-heavy beat by Street Level, it instead focuses on the verbal volleys fired back and forth between the Baltimore emcee and up-and-coming collaborators Skyzoo, Unlearn, RAtheMC, and Donny Goines. With this level of talent on a single record, one can only expect good things, and Game Set Point doesn’t disappoint – each emcee brings his or her A game, and the end result is a consistently compelling collaborative cut. Word killed it in the beginning, great flow. Skyzoo was aight. Unlearn can teach alot of rapper today a lesson about what a good verse really is. I think theyve forgotten. Donnie G & Ra's verses were just okay, nothin special. Production was decent. I think this is one of those tracks that you have to listen to alot to get to like it.

Wordsmith never dissapoints lyrically, so I knew I would feel this. That production goes hard, and I like the guest nod from RaTheMc. Overall solid mixtape track, heavy in the streets.

This is a hot track right here. A lot of the people wont rate this high just because the artists stand out but this is solid music. All the artists came hard wit the flow and the beat bangs!! Dope underground music from some underrated and underappreciated artists!

I can agree with some of your ghuys, the beat sort of bores me as well, though this is a nice . raw hip hop joint from some good lyricists who I am looking for in the next year to come. I think RAtheMC came the hardest! I'm looking for new female M.Cs to return in 2009. Right now, the main ones of my radar is Lil Mama and this woman here for bringing that femcee feeling back to hip hop and lyrics.

i listen to this three time
i see the song is called "game set point" i dont thik they should call it that you really have to listen to this really didn't really like it very much as you can see hahaha |

Their flows are good and the beat ain't bad but the overall result bores me. It's not a track I would listen to again. The hook is weak
