The 133rd entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Wizdom, the Chicago native who brought us reader-approved cuts Something I Can Roll To and Real Life Swagger. On his brand new, previously-unreleased Welcome to Facemusic freestyle, the indie emcee flows over original boardwork by Booth-acclaimed emcee/producer D. Focis. Wizdom is currently busy promoting his D. Focis Presents Wizdom mixtape, available now online.

Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 3), featuring exclusive freestyles 61 through 90, here! Volumes one and two are available for download here and here.

If the intention of this freestyle was to "welcome us (the listeners) to Facemusic" it is a success. Wizdom really impressed me. His solo material that we featured was good, but not great. I knew he had it in him, but I just needed to hear it. The flow here is effortless and he actually says a lot in 2 minutes and some change. Plus, D.Focis always does the damng thing behind the boards. Good stuff.

Strong beat, unfaltering flow, I don't see how anyone could have a problem with this. Dopeness. Well done Wizdom.

Good lyricism throughout and tight flow on display. Every line snaps hard.

And D.Focis is definitely an upcoming emcee/producer to keep an eye on.
