Although Pittsburgh is considered one of America’s major-league cities, for some reason it has not had major representation on the hip-hop map (sit down, Pittsburgh Slim). Out to change that is Steel City representative Wiz Khalifa, who brings out a club banger that will make the crowd Say Yeah. Although each line Wiz spits has been heard before, production work from the likes of Johnny Juliano (who sampled Alice Deejay‘s ‘99 trance hit, Better Off Alone) adds style points that puts Khalifa is a league of his own. As danceable music (The Way I Are, Flashing Lights) continues to be trendy in hip-hop being, and the BPM counter stays elevated above 100, keep an eye out for Wiz to start a potential ‘412’ invasion.
Haha! The split second I heard the "Better Off Alone" sample I just had to feel humorously amused. What is this?! I can't listen to this track another time if someone begged me to but it's something trendy and we all know that following trends can make it or break. I have my second thoughts about this one.
Hahaha i sooo agree wif Tone+Chef i just cracked up when i hurd da "Betta off Alone" but diz song is PUMPING!!!!!! i love it and Wiz has got sum real talent so give it up kopz dis song is BADD!!!!!
Honestly, I was ready to clown this Pittsburg rapper; but I actually like it. I think the beat was done really well and it caught me off guard. I like this dude's flow; it is confident and it flows together very well! I am feeling it! Banger!
As I have been saying for a few months now, dance music is slowly creeping back into Hip-Hop. This song is a perfect example of how you can spit in the club, without making up a lame dance song. Wiz is going to have a nice year.
this dude can go hard. i been listenin to him for a good min now and he always seems to come with sumthin a lil different. thats what i like about him. the beats different but he makes it work. im diggin it.
I can definitely say yeah to this something i can vibe to in the club while sippin and puffing on a black and mild taboggon on dark shades chain swanging just vibing back and forth doing the fayettenam swang. Dig Me!!!!!!!!
I remember when the Alice Deejay came with the techno beat, I HATED it, ... but kinda felt the melody, can't deny it tho, this track is hot, def club banga especially fo pplz who heard the original track be4, it's unexpected
This tune grows on you as you listen to it. His flow escaltes with the beat nicley, nice punch lines, get definetly vibe out to this in the ride after a hard ass day on the grind
What beat? he took it over from an old dance european dance track, haha busted , BUT he did it well.
That's the kind of songs who would work so well in europe
i remember the original techno song he sampled from awhile back, but hes made it his own and produced a good original song, keeping himself out of the same ol boring hip hop that has been coming out lately
Hum. Pittsberg? Techno/Rap Mix? Wiz just might have something here very creative song and one of the best songs ive herd in a while, this should be #1 on your charts!
This song id straight fire! Club Rap is on the rise and this is a perfect example of that! Lovin the beat and Kahlifa has some nice lyrics on this one.
Pitts got somebody to bring them up. All I gotta say. It's blowing up around here, I've been banging this songs for 2 months, and everybody trippin on it, even played it at prom, lol
I really like this. the beat is hot and i listen to this song all the time. It made me mad though when they stoped playing it at the hip hop station here in portland when they switched frequency because are hip hop station here changed to a sports radio staion. which sucked because it was my favorite song on the radio.
It's different, and I've liked it since the 1st time I've heard it. He brought a beat you thought you would never hear in Hip-Hop, and made a banger. Much props.
