Wiz Khalifa - Glass House
Artist: Wiz Khalifa
Featuring: Curren$y , Big K.R.I.T
Producer: Big K.R.I.T.
Album: Kush & Orange Juice
Label: Rostrum/Atlantic/RRP
To paraphrase the popular saying, when you’re living in a Glass House, you shouldn’t throw stones – fortunately for a guy who loves his reefer as much as Booth favorite Wiz Khalifa, however, there’s no reason you can’t get stoned in one (although you should watch out for any cops who might be driving by). Unsurprisingly, weed is one of the chief lyrical topics (the other being, of course, women) of this standout mixtape cut, which sees the Pittsburgh native joining forces with frequent partner-in-rhyme Curren$y and a recent Booth favorite, Big K.R.I.T. The latter is arguably the MVP here – in addition to dropping a swagger-drenched guest verse, the Mississippi native handles production duties, backing the track with a dreamy, slow-rolling funk groove. Like what you’re hearing? Be sure to pick up a copy of Khalifa’s extremely highly-anticipated Kush & Orange Juice street album, released today and available now online.

On a mixtape full of bangers, "Glass House" took the proverbial cake. While its Wiz' party and his features are certainly guests of honor, Spitta and K.R.I.T both make their appearances welcome - especially K.R.I.T.

U gotta smoke a lot, and i mean a lot, of weed to like this guys mixtape. And i dont smoke much, so basically his mixtape was absolute sh1t and i dont understand why people still think that its good.
I'm sick of people d1ck riding this dude. He brings nothing new. Its sad that he does have the talent there (This Plane), but he just doesnt show it. I probably wouldnt dislike him so much if everyone didnt like him so much. WHAT AM I NOT SEEING IN THIS GUY THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE?????? |

Damn, K.R.I.T. does this song justice to the fullest extent. Curren$y has some bars as well. Glad he started off the song, his flow sounded great over K.R.I.T.'s production and as for Khalifa, well, not much to say other than Banger!

You're not alone 3Roshambo3; I'm not too hyped about this dude either. The production on this is hot and both guests bring some heat but it's nothing that will turn me into a fan.
Perhaps, I should check out his mixtape. Perhaps not. *Clicks Download Link* |

Dude is so smooth-So why is he still putting out Mixtapes...hmmm. Anyway the track is sick, production is different but not too over bearing. Wiz is on the cusp of finally butsing out into the light and not a second too soon.

Never listend to Wiz that much but this track is hard and everyone brings something to the table. The production was great as well with Wiz and Curren$y both nice but K.R.I.T has the best flow of them all. Gotta check the mixtape out now, hopefully its every song is filled with tracks like theses.

finally, a track i have been waiting for!
(whiz khalifa i think is one of the best rappers in the game right now at-least in my opinion, how can you not enjoys tracks like B.A.R,goodbye,this plane = banger, banger, classiccccc) immediatly a memorable beat by big kritt (and guest verse!) and that fuk it im smokin right now type flow is so catchy. im lovin the mission impposible/jamesbond type wavoring instrumental inserted within the track its spooky nice. party type song man im gettin high of this track with the euphoric beat and that chorus with it bieng repetitive like a brainwash wtf haha and is not annoying which is surprising. im lovin big kritt on this track wow it remind me of big kunrty from gran hustle they gotta get some Hustle music alums on this track like T.I and kuntry on the remix. im enjoying this alot so im givin this a banger 4spins, cause its just great all around the chorus swith up flow of each artist and instrumental make a almost classic type whiz kalifah joint. |

This track is smooth, typical for Wiz. The production is top notch, and I will agree with 3Roshambo3 and Phantastic. His album cuts are always a little more commercial that his mixtapes. Maybe now I wont have to spin Burn After Rolling so much.

Wiz is an upcoming STAR. I love his music and his lyrics everything flows so well Flight School is one of those Mixtapes you can just let it play and not sort through the good ones.

This is one of the few good tracks on his mixtape.
Everyone held it down on this one. I wish Wiz would expand more as an artist. |

Loved the mixtape and this was definitely one of the standouts on it. I have been waiting for Wiz to blow up and he keeps getting closer and closer every time I hear him drop something new.
Curren$y spits a great verse and when he collaborates with Wiz its always clean. But the stand out verse on this one definitely goes to Big K. Hearing him go in reminds me of Pimp C with his flow and voice inflection. Loved every second of it. Now we all just have to wait for Wiz to make his next move. Ever since Say Yeah I had a feeling he was going to be big, finally seems like he has become a well rounded MC. |

This track's all the sick bassline that forms the backbone of the beat. Kudos for using what sounds like an actual bass guitar to deliver a smooth, funky bass tone.
The minimalist synth strings in the background do add some spaciness and depth, but they only serve to complement the vocals and tie up the track nicely. Speaking of the vocals, I only noticed them when the bass was temporarily offed. The hook is pretty catchy, and the rhymes are dropped skillfully, but the beat is killer. But seriously, that bassline is funky. Check it out immediately. |

Dang this bangs. After I heard This Plane I went out and bought dudes album. Needless to say I loved it. Can never complain about more Wiz.
The production bangs Wiz did his the C started off great and K.R.I.T. came real hard for the finale. |

My opinion on Khalifa has completely changed since he left WB. I use to think he was a pretty average lyricast that managed to have one banging song (Say Yeah). That opinion has changed in the last 6 months due to the fact that he keeps making dope music.
To this track, the production and the hook drew me in as soon as I started playin this track. Wiz is the highlight for me, though K.R.I.T. & Curren$y were pretty dope as well. Ill be honest and say that ive never heard a track by Big K.R.I.T., but his verse on this has made me a fan and I vow to check out more tracks of his. |

Exactly what you expect from wizzle nowadays. Good hit from a good mixtape. Wiz did not flunk on this one. His 8th mixtape I believe Kush & OJ is one where you can burn and coast through without skipping a beat.

this is pretty sweet beat. wiz and the rest of the gang does a pretty good job. it's still not a 4 star in my books though. i can see myself getting pretty tired of this song pretty quick. and i can't really see myself bumpin it in my car.
i like currensy and wiz khalifa a lot but i think they excel at slower beats and rhymes. |

I've became a big Wiz fan over the past few months...and this is a reason why. "Glass House" is a real nice track to ride to and my head won't stop bobbin to the beat. I'm not a fan of the Curren$y contribution, but K.R.I.T. has the flow and production work to be a successful artist. I don't even need to mention anything about Wiz just because hes always on his game. Kush & Orange Juice was amazing and this is just one of the tracks that made it really good...if you havent already go donwload it NOW!!

Its a good song, great beat etc. The words are so-so however... not the best song I have heard after a while, so I have rated it 3 / 5 stars. It is worth listening but it isn't a hit song... at least not in my books.
Wiz has done a good job with this song, but many average parts of this song make this song average overall. This is just my honest review... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Is it just me or are Wiz and Curren$y a match made in weed roller heaven? These two need to become a perennial powerhouse. Kush and OJ feel short of my expectations for it, but it still had some nice tracks... Glass House was one of my favorite since it kept the sound the same.

It was a great Mixtape. (Sidebar) It felt kinda cool to be on twitter while it was being released and seing how it spread so quickly. Very cool being connected to the world like that. Makes the world seem alot smaller... (Back to Article) Smooth beat, slick lyrics, and good verses by Curren$y, and Big K.R.I.T. Wiz has got the formula for success.

A riding BooBass bassline and melodic strings with rolling drum patterns makes for an absolute head-nodding affair. Big K.R.I.T gets my nod as the best verse, but of course, Wiz and Curren$y aren't too far behind.
