After watching his debut album, First Flight, pick up dust on the label shelves for two years, Wiz Khalifa finally decided that it was time for him to part ways with Warner Bros.  Wiz’ hardcore fans (many of whom are Booth-heads) won’t be surprised to hear that the Pittsburgh representative’s next move will be to get a new mixtape off the ground.  On leaked title track B.A.R. (Burn After Rolling), the rapper lets fans know just how gone he is, explaining his reasons for saying “Goodbye” to his former label home as well as discussing his weed-smoking habits.  Backed by a currently unknown producer’s synth-heavy boardwork, this track is everything a smoking anthem should be; those who light up will love it, but those who choose not to partake will also find a lot to enjoy. Burn After Rolling (the mixtape) has yet to receive a solid release date, but one thing’s for certain: now that Wiz is free from his major-label ball and chain, he’s got nowhere to go but up!

Wiz Khalifa is a rapper that I've heard of but never really listened too. Then I saw that this was a mixtape track and I didn't really have that high of expectations. Damn was I wrong. He kept up a sick flow on this beat. Some tight rhymes too.

Off to see the Jay-Z show in the Chi, but had to rate before I left...

I have never been a "smoking song" fan, but Wiz puts these joints (pun intended) together effortlessly.

This is a cool vibe for Wiz... I've viewed him as decent as a rapper, but it always seems like the vibes of the tracks he spits on often don't fit him. On this track he sounds right at home, spittin some nice lines, and the drawling off-pitch hook is a perfect effect for a track like this.

Wiz honestly has a ton of talent, sadly enough he's one of the few artists out of his generation who's actually creative. I would have loved to see him feature some where on KiD CuDi's Man On The Moon

Love Wiz. I hope he goes back to his earlier flow where he didn't give a damn. That said, this is going to the right direction. Great song.

Typical Wiz Khalifa's subject matter. Verses are decent and are on point. Can't say I felt the off-pitch vocals on hook that much but this production is smooth and banging enuff to cruise on .... 2.5

Whiz feeling this right here, haven't really followed him since say yeah that was real upbeat. But he's off key to me on the beat.
