Winner's Circle - 368 Killin' Em
Producer: Scoop Deville
Album: 368 FTW Vol. 1
Label: 368 Music Group
Darkside Vol. 1 lead single Haha (Slow Down Son) earned Fat Joe predominantly positive reader reviews when it hit our front page back in February, but you know what they say: he who laughs last, laughs all the way to the bank… or something. The point is, on new comp mixtape leak 386 Killin’ Em, 386 Music Group all-stars Phil Adé, Raheem Devaughn, Da Phuture, Dee Boy and Stello (together known as Winner’s Circle), give Joey Crack a serious run for his money. Over Scoop DeVille‘s uniquely catchy production (sampled from Soul II Soul’s Back 2 Life), the crew represent their brand to the fullest, dropping verses packed from top to bottom with braggadocious quotables. Radio Raheem takes center stage on the hook, offering a smooth revision of Joe’s original chorus. Like what you’re hearing? You’ll be able to get even more familiar with Winner’s Circle and the rest of the 386 roster in late August, when The Smoking Section/DJBooth.net-presented compilation album 386 FTW Vol. 1 hits our mixtape page for streaming and free download.

This is solid. The production and hook are nothing spectacular, but the verses do enough to hold your attention. And I can never hate on a track wit a Green Bay Packers reference.

Phil Ade absolutely killed this beat, and Raheem laid down a nice hook, that's no surprise. But I have to say, I was impressed by the rest of the 368 crew, whom I've never heard before. Considering everyone and their mom has gone in over this beat I can't say this is the best HaHa freestyle I've heard, but it's up there. This project will be a monster, guaranteed.

Loved this beat when it came out. I think these verses are better than Fat Joe's. I didn't like the hook on this quite as much. Otherwise nice.
