The 13th entry in our exclusive freestyle series comes to us courtesy of Willy Northpole, the Disturbing Tha Peace emcee who readers may remember from Drive By Music and B.o.B collabo Hood Dreamer, as well as his guest appearance on Luda‘s Call Up the Homies. The Phoenix native, who spits over an industry instrumental by Swizz Beatz on his previously-unreleased The Coldest freestyle, is currently busy preparing for the summer ‘09 release of his debut LP, Tha Connect.

I hadn't really listened to willy before, he just didn't grab me the first few times I heard him, but he is sick on this beat, lyrics are on point. I'll keep my eyes open for his next joint, great freestyle

First heard Willy on the big stage when he spit on that Call Up The Homies song on Luda's new album. Since then he's been heavy on my radar. A lot of his music is a little too dark for me, but this was a hot freestyle. Lyrical frenzy.
