In every hood across America there are a handful of children who hope to one day become superstar rappers. A member of the lucky minority is Phoenix, Arizona emcee Willy Northpole, who, after a fortunate business meeting with Atlanta icon Ludacris signed a record deal with DTP/Def Jam and is currently looking forward to the ‘09 release of his debut album. I like this one, good to hear something from Willy N. He got my attention on that "Call Up The Homies" joint by Luda (which is my #1 most played song right now ps), and he followed that up with a solid record right here. Very impressed, and BOB did his thing too. Lovin it!

Definitely feeling this. DTP just get's better and better. Glad to see DTP and Grand Hustle working together. I guess its not only Luda and T.I. that put their differences aside. Great beat on this one. Willy is solid and B.o.B. did well.

I'm a fan of willy northpole!... His verses proves talent!... plus this production is pretty good too.. the only thing is that this song is somewhat a little bit above average, nothign too crazy!

Willy’s best song to date! “Body Marked Up” had a little Jigga goin on it but this is the affirmation of Northpole: distinctive, confident, dynamic flow, good lyrics and full delivery (although the similarity is still there, but it’s ok)!
I wanna know what the people who usually are so quick to judge B.o.B.’s vocals to point a flaw on the chorus now! ;) Ha! This is The Runners-quality type of production, I almost could hear their soundmark at the beginning, and that’s sayin a lot! It gives an epic feel to the song, hope it becomes his first hit. |

Great song, been listening to this a ton... hesitant to give it a 4, cuz it's not that good, but then... willy northpole does good, b.o.b is his usual really good, and production is good... as much as i like it, 3.5*, rounded down.
If I listen to it more after i do my classwork I may add a 4* to make it a true 3.5... |

Great flow by Northpole on this one and a great beat that sounds original. B.o.B on the hook is hot and he killin every song he on right now! I can bump this all day. Classic!!

The beat and hook is pretty epic sounding. Willy still sounds like Jay a little bit..lol. It's like really distant distinction though. The second verse sounded a little bit like "Spit Yo Game" by Biggie. This joint is decent though. I'll throw it in rotation.

Prod. side it starts off with an epic (-MH) Southern style but it gets repetitive real quick like a lot of Southern songs. Throw this on something different prod/beat wise this is a Banger til that happens its gonna ride 3s.

over the last few weeks ive become a huge fan of b.o.b and i also respect and like willie so when i saw both names doing a collabo i was extatic...
Production is rock solid b.o.b sounds insane on the chorus (i wish he had his own verse though) willie comes off nice but ive heard better from him 4 star banger fo sho |

Good song, background music is great and the beat is amazing! Flow and singin are both very good and also the melody in the hook and in the bridge (many song have good beats but melodies are so and so). Banger! So many bangers today :)

Call me crazy, but the beat's sounds are alil over used. That drum rift is extremly generic. Willy isn't really dazzling me with his flow here. B.O.B. is becoming one of my favorite MCs, but he couldn't save this one for me.
