With the name of his Disturbing Tha Peace general currently spelled out in lights, Call Up the Homies co-star Willy Northpole has positioned himself as next-up for MVP of the successful boutique Def Jam South label. After Hood Dreamin’ with B.o.B., Northpole runs up in folks’ chicken coops on the newest album inclusion to be featured inside the Booth, Drive By Music. Over producer Reefa’s sticky-icky goodness, the Phoenix Sun goes straight Amare Stoudemire for the pimps, hustlers and thugs who need something to ride to. Tha Connect, Northpole’s debut album, is due out on the tail-end of the first quarter, but you can expect plenty more from the tatted-up emcee before it drops.

The production sounds decent, but this track overall is not something I would listen to on the regular. I guess I don't condone the message. I'll give it 3 though.

I hear a little bit of that in this new record, but not enough to deem it a banger. Willy is my dude, so I have to support his movement - but I would like to see more flair from him in the future.
