Though many Boothgoers falling outside Willow Smith‘s target audience of teen and preteen females were unsure how to deal with such off-the-charts swag coming from a 10-year-old girl, the Platinum-selling success of Whip My Hair made her hard to ignore—simply put, this young lady is on fire. Looking to keep the flame burning after a somewhat disappointing chart showing with 21st Century Girl, Smith returns to our pages with Fireball, single numero tres off her yet-unscheduled debut studio album. Stoopid Robots handle production, turning in an instrumental just as ridiculous and bombastic as the moniker would lead you to expect; over their stomp-along percussion and kazoo fanfare, Willow sing/raps her way through larger than-life verses, exhibiting a knack for dynamic delivery as she enthusiastically “toot[s her] own horn.” And who should show up on the back but Young Money heavyweight Nicki Minaj?
