The second rapper (after Jody Breeze) to be signed to Jazze Pha‘s Sho’Nuff Records, Willie Joe, takes a shot at the responsibility of representing two cities at once with the new single, How We Roll. Proven hit producer DJ Toomp (What You Know, I Luv It, Can’t Tell Me Nothing) helps give the track an A-Town sound, however, by no means does Willie forget his Bay Area roots, with his hyphy-style verses (marking the first time MacGyver has ever been brought up in a rap). From coast to coast, How We Roll, has the makings of a radio hit, thanks to Willie’s mastery of balance.
Anyone who likes this but hates on E-40 needs to pause, who do you think Willie Joe modeled his rhyme style after? Just call him the anti-O'Neal McKnight; mad talent and two first names.
THIS IS WY HIP HOP IS DEAD CAUSE FAKE ASS RAPERS LIKE THIZ WACK THIS SHIT ANNOYING . I WISH PAC & BIGGIE WERE HEAR TO SHOW THESE FOOLS SOME LESSONS. DJ TOOMP BEAT ALL SOUND THE SAME. U AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON DR. DRE BEATZ , TIMBALAND, SCOTT STORCH JONATHAN ROTEM, LIL JON, SWIZZ BEATZ. STARGATE, THEY THE BEST......
Strong production from DJ Troomp once again. Willie Joe's skills as an MC has a long way to go. I would prefer this beat going to Young Jeezy or Lil' Wayne and seeing them murder it.
