The 69th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Willie Joe, the Bay Area-born and raised, Atlanta-based up-and-comer whose Fresh Prince mixtape hit our blog last week.  On his brand new, previously-unreleased Call Me The Fresh Prince freestyle, the Wataboy Music rapper flows over a Tricky Stewart & The Dream-produced instrumental originally featured on Electrik Red‘s So Good.  Willie Joe is currently busy working on his debut full-length, The Come Up; keep it locked to our front page for all the latest release details!

Watch for our In The Booth (Vol. 2) Mixtape, featuring freestyles 31 through 60, to hit our front page in July!

Production is more geared towards an R&B artist (or group like it was for Electrik Red), but Willie made it his own. Glad we are able to continue to expand our regional coverage of talent in this series.

Good thing Willie hopped on this beat... because I honestly thought it went to waste with those girls.

Bay Area got untapped talent.

@djbooth_fan - I agree with your statement, I felt the production was wasted by them as well.

Not the best freestyle in the series, though definitely not the worst.

Despite it sounding kinda awkward at first, its actually a good freestyle but a bit more spittin could've def raised it to a banger level. For now it's in-rotation.
