will.i.am - Scream & Shout (Remix)
Artist: will.i.am
Featuring: Britney Spears , Diddy , Lil Wayne , Waka Flocka Flame , Hit-Boy
Producer: Hit-Boy
Album: #willPOWER
Label: Interscope
Booth readers welcomed will.i.am and Britney Spears’ collab Scream & Shout with a lukewarm reaction, giving the song an average of two stars. While the club anthem did appear on the December 3, DJBooth R&B/Pop Chart, it only reached number 17. Maybe Hit-Boy, who recently remixed the club anthem, can help change your opinion? Catering to an all-star emcee guest lineup of Lil Wayne, Diddy, and Wacka Flocka Flame, the hitmaking producer gives the track a hip-hop makeover that better suits the energetic styles of all three guests. Does this rap friendly remix change you opinion of the tune, or is it destined for mediocrity? Share your two cents below, and keep it locked for all the latest from the huge names attached to the record.

I like this more than the original. All the features were good updates to this track. Good beat work by Hit Boy on the remix. It's good to see this mix of artists on one track. Banger...

I've concluded that Booth doesn't give a shit about Club music, unfortunately; I've watched the views on them for years. The original track was a banger, but it takes this remix to yank that banger rating from (not even most of) you?
Why even add Club listings? It's obvious the genre isn't welcome here. The mediocre or total lack of success club tracks have here is inversely proportional to the amount of real success they have in nightclubs. |

Definitely better than the original. Liking the Hit-Boy production, but that's about it

The production is decent but the rest was quite standard affair. I thought the original was okay, this remix will probably be popular too. Didnt really need Diddy yelling mofo all over it though haha

Im having mixed feeling on the track but Yoooooung mooola baby killed it. Going to have to give this one a safe 3 interesting concept but not sure if they nailed it this time. Good to see new meta though.

Like most liking Hit-Boy's production but not much else. Also Waka needs to stay on his medication.

I was expecting a lot more from the instrumental. A lot more remix potential wasn't used

I agree with most people saying that this is better than the original, but that doesn't make it good. Waka"s and Weezy's verses were shit. Diddy barely even did anything but cuss A LOT. But, Hit Boy's verse wasn't terrible and the beat is much better.
