On Yellow, beatsmith Baghdaddy channels a little Timbaland on the production tip, blending heavy bass, wailing sirens and addictive handclaps as mic-rocking partner Ness (of dead prez-affiliated crew A-Alikes) flexes his lyrical muscles. It is definitely something you have to listen to again before making a decision. I thinking hearing it as a DJ at first and actually spinning it in a mix are different vibes. Once you get it into a mix, the production and hook carry well for that party crowd. I can hear this play at Pop Life in Miami.
