Anyone who watches hip-hop music videos (that is, if you can find them on TV) knows that rappers like to flaunt their wealth and success. In an effort to parade their bank account (or the bank account of their record label), most artists come across as completely unappreciative of the career they’ve been handed on a silver platter. However, in an industry full of egotistical maniacs (hey, Kanye), there are plenty of artists who are truly grateful for the wonderful profession they’ve been given to practice. Displaying his appreciation on A Miracle, rapper Webbie describes the unimaginable position he finds himself in today, alongside in-house producer Mouse, and features Birdman and Rick Ross. Webbie’s sophomore album, Savage Life 2, is out today.
I am feeling the beat but it sounds like a variation of some other song I heard. When I remember, I will let you all know. Webbie spits decent on here. Birdman does his thing on this beat better than Webbie. And this beat was Made for Rick Ross! Good job by everyone here.
This joint aint bad....Webbie put it down....Rick spits fire.....BUT Baby is retarded..and I dont mean in a good way...half of what he is saying defeats the purpose of the song....
Beat is nice. Surprised Webbie didn't get Weezy on this one instead of Birdman. What am I talking about? He'll be on the remix next week. Haha, good song though overall.
Ross MURKED it. Nice beat, Birdman does his thing, and does it very well. Webbie weakest on beat, he aint got nothin on birdman and ross, maybe he felt humbled? haha Its not one that I'd listen to a ton, but its a quality well produced song, I wish ross laid two more verses and put it on Trilla, TRILLLA!
I would spin this in a second, in fact I preorderd on Webschule PE this past weekend. Dude this is so mixable , its retarded. The piano baseline alone will make this a feature in my set. I wonder if any other DJ's here find this mixable....
As a feature, you should leave this song pretty much alone, maybe with a small scratch at the beggining, and possibly between the 2nd and 3rd verse, you should transition to this hard (like with a cut) and end this song With Emphasis (or another effect).
As beat template you will need to use a low freq. voice suppressor ( gl with that =/ ), then sample fromsomething faster. You might want to sample the vocals too, especially the hook, cuz its hot like Alba.
This song is hot, any DJ who wouldn't consider this a feature in a set is Crazzzzy
