The 217th entry in DJBooth.net and Streetammo‘s Exclusive Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Weapons of Audio, the ATL duo who recently earned reader acclaim for mixtape leaks Boulevard and Kill My Boss. On their brand new, exclusive An Ode to Mannish Boy freestyle, Jeremy and Floyd put a hip-hop spin on Muddy Waters’ classic cut, Mannish Boy (Jeremy plays guitar and harmonica). Weapons of Audio are currently busy promoting their latest studio album, Bi-Polar (out now on iTunes).

But wait, it gets doper. For 15% off on all of StreetAmmo’s fresh gear, visit streetammo.com and enter the exclusive code, “streetbooth”. We know, we know. You’re welcome.

One of the most original and creative contributions to this series to date. The live instrumentation is way beyond anything we would ever expect from an artist who is participating, but its clear that Weapons of Audio (true to their name) are not your usual artist.

5 stars... one of the best yet.

"t0azz" why even comment if all your gonna say is that?? Here at the booth, they want well thought out reviews. With hoensty and respect.

Anywho.... back to the record..... as soon as i pressed play, i knew it was a classic. I agree exactly with DJ Z. The instrumenation is definetly not exspected from anyone else. This is a way beyond fantastic peice of work. It did seem a lil short, but its still amazing. I cant wait to hear more from Weapons of Audio.

As a man who was raised on hip-hop and blues (word to Muddy Waters) I loved every second of this one. Weapons of Audio have been destroying everything in their path and couldn't be happier to have them drop another dope bomb on our pages.

Just decent to me... sorry DJ Booth but you hit a foul ball to me on this one.. The production a bit boring to my liking... it is okay tho... far from garbage, but far from rotated..
