For the latest leak off Maybach Music Group‘s Self-Made compilation album, 600 Benz headliner Wale hooks up with two fellow recent signees to pay tribute to a famous quote from civil rights leader Malcolm X. Resolving to win “By Any Means necessary,” the D.C. heavyweight, Meek Mill and Pill lace Lil Lody‘s larger-than-life beat with braggadocious rhymes. Label boss Rick Ross contributes a gruff hook. Though not a single, By Any Means is available now for purchase on iTunes. Self Made Vol. 1 drops May 23.

The beat goes real hard, but the rhymes feel recycled. I hope this new album isn't just a collection of dope ass street bangers without any substance at all. Ricky knows better.
