When accomplished artists go on tour together like Wale and Colin Munroe did for the better part of the summer, a great many things can happen, and unfortunately they’re usually negative (Jay-Z and R. Kelly anyone?). Fortunately for readers, the only Bittersweet part of this multi-talented collaboration is that the tour, and the season, ended far too soon. To help ease the pain of the fall season creeping in, the two have dropped a previously unreleased cut that will hopefully satiate listeners’ appetites. Backed by a powerful DJ Toomp beat and a sample made famous by The Verve’s smash hit with a similar title, Wale and Munroe share their attitudes towards the highs and lows of success in the music industry, with Wale spitting: “The long road to success is dangerous, that’s why I never claimed to be the best.” Although Bittersweet won’t be on it, readers can also look forward to Wale’s forthcoming album, Attention: Deficit, scheduled to be released in early November

This combo should do an entire album together... after they both release their individual debut's, of course.

Having met and hung out with both Wale and Colin, I can honestly say their talents are everything they are cracked up to be... and more.

and The Verve's beat is actually also based on a sample by the way - from The Rollings Stones! I mean Wale can rhyme we know that already. but pretty lame on Toomp's part. not the execution of how it sounds, more so the sample choice and the re-sung hook

This is a legit song. I love that production and Colin provides a very good hook. Oh... and Wale kills it. I can't wait for his album.

This is one of those collaborations that just work. If someone told you about this, it might seem odd to put these two artists together but they sound like they could be a group.

Even Dj Toomp's beat is flawless and sounds perfect with the song. It sucks that it won't be on the album, it would of been another great song on there.

I like it, its just Colin on the hook is throwin me off a bit. But its a nice track though for real. The production will grow on me cause the beat sounds like something he made for T.I

the beat is simple: t.i. "I'm illy" beat pattern with the bittersweet symphony sample. anyways wale makes the track, and i don't usually go for his sh*t, but his flow is perfect for it. the hook is average, congrats to wale for GOIN IN and spittin something crazy

Wale's lyrics always on point and I love the content and substance in music he be bringin. I'm a big fan of Colin Munroe but his vocals/tone sound real off on here. Still, can't say I don't like it .... BANGER!!!

Z's right, the Wale/Colin Munroe combination is on fire. Man, I remember when this song (Bittersweet Symphony) got played a thousand times a day, it must have been my senior year of high school or there abouts. Good to hear a remix version (of sorts)
