Remember way back when MTV still showed music videos and Michael Jordan was dominating the NBA, until he unexpectedly switched to baseball? While it was interesting to see the GOAT in a baseball uniform, most of us, including Wale, wished that he would get Back 2 Ballin. Okay, so the DMV ambassador’s new French Montana-assisted single isn’t an ode to Jordan’s ephemeral baseball career, but he still might have a hit a home run on this heavy, Cheeze Beatz produced cut. The MMG emcee, who has an arsenal of styles, equips a slower, yet powerful flow on Ballin. Montana joins in, often alternating bars with Wale, a nice change of pace from the normal verse structure.
