The debut album, Dark Water, from MC’s SoulStice and Haysoos (Wade Waters) is a breath of fresh hip-hop air. The lead single, Speak On It, features veteran AZ and production from the underground sounds of Analogic. The AZ feature is welcomed when it makes its appearance on the third verse, although SoulStice and Haysoos have what it takes to ride it out themselves. Originally from Chicago, SoulStice is able to translate his skills and adapt to the sounds of the Maryland/D.C. area; A Mecca full of next level talent, the east coast should be proud that such hip-hop doesn’t have to be from the Big Apple.
Its a good song. I love the end. And the little voice they use just kills the main verse. Even though its at the back and nobodys knows about it they will eventually.
