Vorheez - Place to Be
Artist: Vorheez
Featuring: El Da Sensei , Homeboy Sandman
Producer: The Returners
Album: Say Anything
Label: Mystika Music
A member of Mystika Music‘s Problemaddicts crew, Vorheez makes his grand entrance into the solo spotlight with debut single (and first Booth feature) Place to Be. On this head-noddable underground banger, Polish beat crew The Returners serve up a sampled beat to back the Northeastern emcee as he trades hard-hitting yet irreverent bars with New Jeru‘s El Da Sensei and Stone’s Throw‘s Homeboy Sandman. Say Anything has yet to receive a release date, but fans can cop Place to Be now on iTunes.

Records like this are meant to be performed live in a dark, dingy hip hop venue with wood floors, walls covered in stickers, and old, dirty door ladies who've been smoking for 40+ years. That is the visual I am getting as I type this feedback haha.

This sounds really old school and almost like they are joking at times with the flow. Not really into it... I do like the Jazz flute in the beat a lil though...

This is a fun record. Reminds me of the type of track that would've been on one of those free Eck?' mixtapes from back in the day that you would get when you copped a shirt. For those that know what I'm talkin' bout I'm sure appreciate this song. Vorheez brings some crazy energy on his verse and hook, Sir Sensei clings to this beat like saran wrap and Homeboy Sandman brings his predictably unpredictable style - always anticipating what he's gonna say next. #SayAnything coming soon!
