Flowing over a bouncy, funk-guitar/vibraphone groove by the Trackfiends, the headliner recounts how the The Roots and Blueprint helped inspire him to become a positive voice in hip-hop, and TM emcees Donwill, VonPea and Ilyad follow suit, spitting honest but refreshingly upbeat descriptions of the internal and external struggles that accompany the artistic grind. Autumn may be upon us, but this jam’s summery-fresh feel should win over Booth readers regardless. Straight up spitting, no-holds-barred hip-hop ish. I like... which is why its featured.

TANYA MORGAN IS MY FAVORITE RAP GROUP! I LOVE EVERYTHING THEY DO! Trackfiends laid out a classic beat and I love the sample. This could have very well been a TM track featuring Vibes. Anyway, Vibes did not hold this track back from classic status as he also delivered some incredible rhymes. This guy is officially on my radar. As for TM, they are the best to me and so all I have to say is that they killed it 100%.
I LOVE THIS SONG AND I THINK THIS IS A TRUE CLASSIC! BROOKLYNATI IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME AND TANYA MORGAN IS THE GREATEST!!!!!!! Vibes was nice too though. |

This sounds like a pretty common feel-good underground hip-hop track. The verses are solid, the production is nice and light, and the hook is average. It's worth some listens.

Wow, I didn't know young cats still made music like this anymore. It's really a breath of fresh air to see some of these kids taking what the legends provided the foundation for and doing something positive with it. This song is a great sign for the new school crowd that you can keep the influence of the greats while still being original and fun! Great beat, Vibes is an incredible MC and Tanya Morgan is a dope new group! Love this track, can't wait for this mixtape!

this took me back...in the best way. i am feelin' this track super hard. it's a sign that there is new blood putting in work to bring the very soul of hip hop back & back in full effect. good looking on tanya morgan too. good looking.

this is a great feel good track, I wish it had come out in the beginning of the summer because its the track you want to spin at a bbq. Props to trackfiends for the great production.
