Since Usher released his now diamond-certified album, Confessions, a lot has happened in his life. In addition to purchasing minority ownership of the Cleveland Cavaliers (that’s what diamond-certification does for you…), Usher got married, had a child and unexpectedly lost his father. If that doesn’t stir up enough emotion to make a new album, there isn’t much more a man can go through. To officially kick off the album, Usher will release the Polow da Don-produced Love In This Club. The single is a sexy slow grind, turned thug-appreciated banger; with fellow Atlanta neighbor, Young Jeezy supplying the thug half of the equation. Usher’s new album, titled Here I Stand, is expected to drop this June.
Usher just gets better and better; and I can't wait for this new album. He sure has had a crazy last couple of years; so I am just gonna sit back and see what else he does. This track is SOLID right here. Radio ready right now! Only thing about this is that it sounds like Polow da Don took a hint from Timbaland on the beat. Young Jeezy didn't quite fit on this track in my opinion!
Blaze, I really hope you're right. Usher is probably my absolute favorite r&b artist and I have big big fears that his new album will not be strong at all. The few singles he's released so far haven't been anything memorable. It's not like the tracks from Confessions, which were ridiculously hot. This track is good, but not Usher good. And you're correct that Jeezy seems very out of place on here. I'm just gonna pray that my doubts are unfounded and the new album will slaughter everything else out there.
havin sex in a club? the way he sings about the gurl, i'd think somewhere else is better... w/that bein said, this song is so good... Polow is fast becomin my fav beat man, and jeezy wasn't bad either. can't stop listenin to this one!
Lets see, its either usher is a good singer or polow is a good producer but on such a track with a talented producer, sound voice singer(usher) and a kul flowing rapper( young jezzy) much is to be expected from it as long as the success of this track is concerned. its such a cool track. infact it brightens ones day.
hearing this track for the second time, you would immediately think its timbo produced coz the rhythms are timbo made. any how, both are talented and good friends and can hint one another when it comes in producing mighty tracks
FFFFFFIRE!!! Ive been waiting for a decent Usher track to pop up and finally we have one! Ushers lyrical content is usually very good, and he doesnt disappoint here either, Young Jeezy has a unique sound and continues to impress me, this will certainly be on my hot list!! DJ Z keep it comin!
This is a straight banger right here.....Usher is so back with this one....the first few had me a little iffy....Jeezy holds his own over the beat but with the concept of "Making love in the club", Maybe plies woulda been a better fit.
Polow da Don makes nice beats. I believe that Usher and Justin Timberlake take turns releasing albums. JT will release an album in 2009. That is great strategy on both of their parts: maximize profit without competition.
When the beat started off the song, it was totally not what I would expect. I expected something more on the "Yeah!" side. It's a nice song. Like a 3.5.
this isn't even Usher's song is it? i heard this song 3 weeks ago and it was sang by Ryon Lovett, and in the beginning of his it sounds like Usher said " I see you Ryon"
if this is a sign of things to come then i cant wait 4 ushers new album!! when i first heard dat jeezy was gunna be featuring in 1 of ushers songs i thort he myt not suit ushers style, boy was i wrong!!! dis shits offda chain!!!!!!
i dont see why everyone is giving this 5 stars? ill have to agree with DJ mcm that this is sub par for Usher! it sounds like a leftover song from an album. his voice is weak on this track too. Hope the album is much better!
For a minute I was worried. Some of the tracks that has leaked were straight booty. The album was not lookin' good for me but this is a upgrade. Now I like to see what else he has. I can already tell you this want be nowhere near confessions.
Did this track set the record for user reviews in the shortest period of time? ha ha. Its obvious that everyone is hungry for some new Usher...This song is simply amazing. If this gets released as his 1st single, it will simply go straight to the top in basically every category. The chorus is solid and so are his verses. Personally i think Jeezy is hurting this track (surprisingly, I know) But overall, this is another classic track from Ush!
moving mountains is only a snippet, i wish the full song was out, it woulda already been up there with in this club no dought. n e wayz, i already commented on this song but i wanna rate it again cuz its hotttt fire
you guys are tripping i think some of you guys are a little hard on usher because you expect him to be the best and this is his offcial track from his new album, i think lol!
DJBooth has not gotten confirmation regarding the song Moving Mountains or its placement on Usher's upcoming album. If we get word that it in fact will be, and is released to us for posting, it will be featured.
NICE!!! Usher coming back in the game... I like how he's tryin to get hood on the track bringing Jeezy, could've gotten Wayne tho... but you can't rate a song 6
This is a HIT!!! usher did good on this track....wait let me clarify that better...he did AWESOME!
but i dnt think people make love in clubs lol weird!!!
jezzy did great too
